Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona

Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is a public funded university founded in 1968 and currently ranked as the first Spanish university according to the intenational QS University Ranking. UAB offers 77 Undergraduate courses covering a wide range of fields. Furthermore, UAB offers a total of 87 doctoral programmes and other postgraduate programmes such as 4 Erasmus Mundus master’s degrees.

UAB brings together in its Campus more than 40.000 students and almost 3.000 researchers. Its main areas of research include Environmental Sciences, Nanotechnology, Microelectronics, Material Science and Engineering, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Logistics and Social Sciences.
UAB counts on a solid and multidisciplinary scientific production mainly settled around its 228 Research Groups, Research and Development and Innovation support.
UAB participates in INOCAST project through several key people involved in the TICAM (Technological Innovation Cluster on Aeronautical Management), embedded into UAB Department of Telecommunications and System Engineering.
TICAM is one of the multidisciplinary bodies facilitating the innovation catalyzation from University to Market. It involves personnel from 7 Departments in research and demonstration projects and has a long track record on transferring research and technological know-how in several engineering areas such as aeronautics, logistics, transport economics and intelligent transport systems.

Coventry Universty


Coventry University (COVUNI) is a forward-looking and modern university with a tradition of providing high quality learning and applied research, with an established presence regionally, nationally and internationally with faculties in Business Environment and Science, Health and Life Science and Engineering and Computing and a school of Art and Design. University of Borås

The University of Borås (UB) is a modern university with six departments, and over 15, 000 students and 750 employees. The University of Borås concept is totally devoted towards being an innovative professional capacitor which, in cooperation with the business sphere and the public sector, conducts education and research of high international quality with social relevance. Such a model of university envisaged for UB is characterised by carrying out systematic cooperation with the companies and authorities of the surrounding society, what we call partnership. Education and research is therefore not understood as a one-sided commitment for the University of Borås, but is planned, carried out and evaluated in cooperation with our partners.

Riga Technical University

Riga Technical University (RTU) is the first technical university in the Baltic countries – its history dates back to 1862 when Riga Polytechnic was founded. Long lasting traditions, advanced teaching methods, new technologies and innovative approach provide the University with the opportunity to ensure research excellence and offer studies in Engineering Sciences, Technologies, and Environmental Sciences as well as in Architecture and Engineering Economics. RTU is an accredited internationally recognised European university and the second largest university in Latvia by number of students. RTU has been fostering ambitious programme of internships for its students (over 200 agreements signed with EU and international universities). RTU collaborates with the enterprises in major industries in Latvia and abroad as well as with state and local government institutions. Supported by ECSF, RTU is taking active part in establishing of Competence Centres and National Research Centres
